I was born in El Paso, Texas, a city in the Southern border of the United States. Living in a border city has made me appreciate different cultures because it has exposed me to different political, economical, and social views and conditions from two very distinct countries. Growing up, I developed an appreciation for imagination and creativity. I have always been fascinated by the ability of talented movie directors, musicians, artists, and architects. Creative individuals communicate their ideas through their work and leave a long lasting impact on their audience. I always knew I wanted to be involved in some type of design. Graphic design is a profession where I can create work that puts my creativity and love of typography into action. I graduated in 2012 with a bachelors degree in graphic design from The University of Texas at El Paso, and I have been working and gaining experience in the graphic design field since then.
